cheminee is a great choice! the location is superb, right across from the ski slopes and near the town center. the room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. what stood out was the welcoming atmosphere provided by the lovely family running the hotel. also, the continental breakfast had delicious options.

The moment we opened our balcony door, the majestic Matterhorn greeted us daily. The warm family-run atmosphere made every interaction special, and breakfasts were a delightful start to our days.

However, the absence of a lift was a bit challenging with our luggage, and the limited dinner menu left us wishing for more dining options in the evening.

It was frustrating that there was no elevator, making it a struggle for us with luggage and navigating the stairs. The room was uncomfortably warm, and the noise from outside made it hard to sleep well at night. I expected better amenities from a hotel at this price range, and the lack of variety in dining options further disappointed us.

Just a decent option for a weekend respite in Zermatt with incredible value for money. The spacious bathroom was a pleasant surprise during our stay. Make sure to pack light since there are no elevators.

Had an amazing trip with friends! The location is perfect for visiting Gornergrat and the Sunnegga ski lift. Breakfast was solid, and the staff were super friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a lovely balcony view. Definitely recommend for a fun getaway!

But the dinner options were pretty limited during our stay, which was disappointing after long days of exploring.

The room had a huge balcony with an amazing Matterhorn view! It was comfy with a flat-screen TV and a cozy seating area. The private bathroom had free toiletries and a powerful shower. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good mix of Swiss options. No elevator, but the staff helped carry our bags. Perfect for skiing!
